Central Shahid Minar

Central Shahid Minar is the pictogram of Bengali nationalism.This monument was built to remember the martyrs of the significant Language movement of 1952. All the Bangalies with flowers gather on 21 February the international mother language day every year to pay their respect to the Language martyrs. When the tourists come to the Shahid Minar they also convey their respect to the language hero.
