The Botanical Garden and eko park of Sitakundu is a remarkable tourist spot of Chittagong Division established in 1998. The Eco-park is a reserved forest block with unique natural beauty. This Eco-park park harbors a huge variety of valuable and rare plant species of indigenous and exotic origin and wild life. This is a hopeful site for developing surroundings of wild ecology, successful eco-tourism and developing research and education for scientists and nature lover of local and overseas. Every year many tourists of home and abroad are come here to visit this beautiful park.

Chandranath Mondir (Temple)

The renowned Chandranath Hill and there is a temple on the top of the hill name Chandranath Mondir (Temple) and many other big and small Temples are in Sitakundu, these places particularly the hilltops are regarded as very holy place for the Hindus. Siva-chaturdashi Mela (festival) is held every year in February when thousands of pilgrims and all kinds of tourist of much area of Bangladesh as well as in foreign countries gather for the celebrations, the festival last about ten days. There is a salt-water spring 5 km. to the north of Sitakunda, known as Labanakhya. From the top of the Chandranath hill you can enjoy the beauty of the sea and hill areas as well as the beauty of the Eco Park. You may come and enjoy the Sitakunda tourist spots.

To enjoy the beauty of Sitakundu at first you have to go to the Chittagong city. Then you can go to Sitakundu by bus from the Chittagong Bus Terminal. There are many kind of buses. Sitakundu is 37 km. far from the Chittagong city. After reaching Sitakundu you will find many types of hotel nearby.
